Main Info
Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holy shrines of Hindus located atop a hill at an altitude of 5300 feet above sea level. This holy shrine is seen in a 100 feet long cave where is housed the sanctum sanctorum of the goddess in the form of a five and half feet tall rock with three heads. The deity worshipped in the temple is Goddess Vaishnavi said to be the manifestation of the collective strengths of Maha Saraswati, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Kali.
